The A Team! is a consulting firm that builds and executes workshops to introduce youth to tech, and support their growth through educational programming while providing flash mentoring sessions that feature relatable people, success stories, and practical advice on pursuing an education and a career in technology.
Statistics show that there is a lack of access to tech equipment and resources in many urban schools. The A Team!’s goal is to bridge that gap by partnering with others to provide access and education to those who want to pursue a career within the tech industry.
The A Team!’s services include:
– Hosting workshops on various topics related to technology and its applications
– Offering flash mentoring sessions featuring successful entrepreneurs, business leaders, and corporations
– Scheduling one-on-one consultations for students interested in learning more about technology careers

Our programs are developed to help young people gain the confidence and skills they need to navigate the digital world. Through our digital Wellness and Safety program, students will learn to make smart tech choices, stay safe online, and use the internet as a research tool. With this middle school program students can build up their digital literacy skills so that they can feel empowered in today’s ever-growing technology driven world.

This course is designed to offer an introduction to computer science.
Students will learn the basics of computer programming along with the basics of computer science. The material emphasizes computational thinking and helps develop the ability to solve complex problems.

The A-Team! Provides culturally responsive professional development for teachers who recognize the importance of including students’ cultural references in all aspects of learning, enriching classroom experiences, and keeping students engaged. We also provide professional development for integrated science and the integration of stem into school systems and existing curricula.

Our students are consistently encouraged to reach their potential and grow through our S.T.E.A.M-related education opportunities. The potential community partners and mentors that we are fortunate enough to work with range from businesses, nonprofits, school systems, parents and students enabling students to gain the skills they need for a bright future. With our team of educators’ ongoing support and guidance, students have the chance to learn tech on their own time to leverage in the job market and further develop their talents and interests. We strive towards the common goal of equipping students with foundational skills so they can take full control of their educational path even after they leave our program.
